Return to school protocol:

Students may return to school after they have been fever-free for 24 hours or more without the use of fever-reducing medication.

Please keep your child home from school if they have any of the following:

Fever of 100.4 or higher
Vomiting/Diarrhea
Undiagnosed rash
Communicable disease including Strep Throat, Influenza, Covid-19, Chicken Pox, Measles, and Pink Eye
Head Lice (until treated)

Vomiting and diarrhea - Please keep your student home if they have had an episode of diarrhea or vomiting. They may return 24 hours after the last episode and symptoms have resolved. Stay hydrated!

If your child becomes ill with any of the above while at school, a parent will be notified to come pick him/her up and must be signed out by a parent or emergency contact. If someone other than a parent or emergency contact will be picking up your student, please send an email with that person’s name, time they will arrive and that you give them permission to do so.

Strep throat - Students may return to school 12 hours after starting antibiotics and must be free of fever.

Anyone diagnosed with COVID may return after being fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication and symptoms are beginning to improve. There is no longer a requirement for masking or for remaining out of school for any set number of days
.
